It has been a WHILE!

Sympathy cards serve as a tangible expression of our empathy and concern during times of loss, whether the loss involves a beloved human or a cherished animal companion. Crafting a sympathy card requires a delicate balance of sensitivity and sincerity, acknowledging the pain of loss while offering comfort and support. For human losses, the language tends to gravitate towards celebrating the life of the deceased and offering solace that they will be remembered fondly. It's a gentle reminder that the love and memories shared with the departed continue to live on in the hearts of those left behind.

When the loss involves a pet, the tone of the sympathy card similarly acknowledges the deep bond between the pet and its owner. It’s important to recognize that for many, pets are not just animals but family members who provide unconditional love and companionship. The message might emphasize the joy and unconditional love the pet brought into their owner's life, and how such a unique bond can never be forgotten. This can be a comforting reminder that their pet's legacy is one of love and joy.

WEDNESDAY! Happy Hump Day!

by ktstamps, 4:54 PM

Hump Day Card Sketches offer a unique and creative way to infuse a little excitement and anticipation into the middle of our weeks. Often, we find the stretch from Monday to Friday to be a long and monotonous journey. By incorporating Hump Day Card Sketches, not only do we break the week's routine, but we also engage in a playful and artistic activity that stimulates our creativity and brings joy to others.

The concept behind these sketches is simple yet profoundly impactful. Each Wednesday, you take a moment to sketch a small design on a card. This can be anything from a doodle of the sunrise, a sketch of a cup of coffee, or even a whimsical drawing of an animal doing human activities. The idea is to make it light-hearted and fun, something that brings a smile to the face of whoever receives it. These sketches can then be shared with co-workers, friends, or family members as a mid-week pick-me-up.

Moreover, Hump Day Card Sketches are not just about the end product but also about the process. Engaging in this creative exercise can be a form of mindfulness, allowing one to take a break from the digital world and the hustle of the workday. It’s a moment of tranquility and artistic expression that not only benefits the creator but also those around them. As these sketches circulate, they create a ripple effect of positivity, making the mid-week hump not just bearable, but something to look forward to.

I love all the new Online Exclusives, they make me happy.  I also like to bring back some Annual Favorites.  This is a nice Sketch for today.  I just look at it and see so many possibilities.  I hope you can see them too.  I have included the sketch along with the cards I created.  I used DSP on one and then cardstock on the other.
